1. Platform Overview

TeamUp provides an online platform designed to connect students for collaborative projects, learning opportunities, and student-led initiatives.

TeamUp does not supervise or guarantee the outcomes of collaborations formed through the platform.

2. Eligibility

Users must provide accurate information when creating accounts.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use the platform with parental or guardian awareness.

3. User Accounts

Users are responsible for:

• Maintaining account confidentiality
• Safeguarding passwords
• Ensuring account information remains accurate

Users are responsible for activity conducted through their accounts.

4. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Impersonate another individual or organisation
• Distribute spam or malicious content
• Attempt unauthorized access to the platform

TeamUp may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Community Guidelines

TeamUp exists to help students collaborate in a supportive and productive environment. Users are expected to:

• Respect others — Harassment, discrimination, and bullying are not tolerated
• Be honest — Accurately represent yourself and your school
• Collaborate constructively — Use TeamUp for meaningful collaboration
• Protect privacy — Avoid sharing sensitive personal information
• Report problems — Report concerning behaviour so it can be reviewed

Accounts repeatedly violating these guidelines may be restricted or removed.

6. User Content

Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant TeamUp a non-exclusive license to host and display that content within the platform.

7. Trust & Safety

TeamUp aims to provide a safe and supportive environment. Our approach focuses on:

• Safety for younger users
• Respectful collaboration
• Transparency in moderation

TeamUp may review reported content or behaviour and take appropriate action, including warnings, content removal, or account suspension.

Because many users are students under 18, we encourage users not to share personal contact details or sensitive information. Parents or schools may contact TeamUp if concerns arise.

8. Student Safety

TeamUp prioritizes safe interactions between students.

Users should avoid sharing personal contact information such as home addresses, phone numbers, or financial details.

If inappropriate behaviour occurs, users are encouraged to report it.

TeamUp may investigate reports and remove accounts or content that threaten user safety. Schools, parents, or guardians may contact TeamUp regarding concerns involving student accounts.

9. Platform Modifications

TeamUp may update, modify, or discontinue features as the platform evolves.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform.

10. Disclaimer

TeamUp is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeamUp shall not be liable for damages arising from:

• Interactions between users
• User-generated content
• Platform interruptions

12. Termination

TeamUp may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten platform safety.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction.
